Interview with the dean of the faculty “Management in education” of the Moscow School for Social and Economic Sciences

In Russia, which was once considered a country of universal literacy, illiterate people began to appear and the number is growing. There are more and more children with intact intelligence who cannot read or write, have not completed primary school. This phenomenon raises questions about the legitimacy of a policy that relies exclusively on best performers and as the result we have incompetent and illiterate people. Dean of the faculty “Management in education” of the Moscow School for Social and Economic Sciences Elena Lenskaya in her interview tells about the pedagogical approach, based on the concept of gifted students, and its risks for the school system and the national economy as a whole.
