From November 24 to 26, 2024, the Annual International Conference of the Center for International Cooperation in Education Development (CICED) was held in Yerevan, Armenia, under the theme “SAM Methodology: Advancing Educational Practices, Improving Pedagogical Approaches, and Developing Promising Diagnostic Tools.”

The conference brought together over 50 experts from Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan, representing educational institutions, national centers for assessing education quality, ministries of education, and other specialized organizations.

The conference topics covered a wide range of issues related to the application of the SAM methodology for assessing subject competencies, diagnosing pedagogical practices, and developing educational systems. The event featured sessions that included presentations, panel discussions, and master classes. Special attention was given to the localization of assessment tools, the development of compensatory modules, and the use of SAM in monitoring studies.

The conference served as an important platform for sharing experiences and discussing the future development of the SAM methodology, generating significant interest among participants and laying the groundwork for further international cooperation.
