Representatives of the Center for Assessment and Testing under the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and representatives of the CICED held a joint meeting on a plan for joint research and other activities within the framework of the Program READ in 2021- 2024 The meeting was held in virtual mode Representatives of the CICED presented the concept and framework of the third stage of the READ Program until 2024. The parties discussed such issues as conducting joint research and monitoring of education quality assessment using the assessment tools developed with the support of CICED under the READ program, localization of Russian tools for use in the educational process of partner countries, joint development of tools, development and testing of modules of pedagogical interventions to eliminate the educational deficiencies identified during the monitoring and improve the quality of education. Particular attention was paid to the development of a toolkit with options for assessment in the native language for Armenian schools and to support the development of a tool for assessing pedagogical practices used by mathematics teachers.
